Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on control, precision, balance and flexibility

It works on strengthening the core, (central area of the body), which in turn helps to improve posture, the ease of movement and can then reduce pain such as low back pain, neck pain and hip pain

The principles of traditional Pilates are to gain stability in one area, allowing smooth movement in another

The exercises in traditional Pilates are adapted by specially trained Neurophysiotherapists to make Pilates accessible to those with a neurological condition
